Sustainable development is a subject close to our hearts. At Harwal we are committed to our social responsibility and adopt various initiatives directed towards sustainability. We manufacture products that are environment friendly and adopt environment friendly processes in our operations.
Our dedicated recycling facilities for Aluminium and plastic process all the scrap materials generated by our diverse operations and also help others.
We manufacture products that are biodegradable. We manufacture biodegradable plastic bags to phase out the polyethylene bags.
Our refrigeration products including cold stores, commercial refrigerators and refrigerated truck bodies are chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) free.
We preserve our forests by developing products to substitute wood.
We preserve water by recycling used water.
We save energy by upgrading our equipments and increasing our efficiency.
A team of experienced and highly qualified professionals from all over the world including representatives of institutional shareholders, are valuable members of the supervisory and advisory board of Harwal.
